Howie Kurtz, right-wing tool, tries to make a case that Olbermann and Hannity are the same.
In this piece of dreck, he makes his oft-repeated claim that Olbermann and his ilk are just as biased as Sean Hannity, if not worse:

Just in case anyone forgot what a tool he is.

1. Well, he is biased! LOL

But what's wrong with that? You couldn't begin to say that Keith Olbermann is neutral and dispassionate, could you? I see it as a good sign. Liberals are getting a following on tv, and hopefully, we'll get a larger following on radio in the coming years, as well. The tide is turning.

2. Being biased isn't necessarily wrong.
It all depends on the bias. If you're biased towards fairness, compassion, reason, and common sense, there's nothing wrong with that!

4. I agree with you both
but the problem is, he looks at both of them and condemns them equally on that basis...only, well, he's kinda sympathetic towards good old Hannity, while he wants to throw the book at Olbermann.

8. It depends on the format: News versus Commentary
Keith Olbermann is a commentator, so he has every right to his biases. If he were a news anchor, they would have a point, but MSNBC has expressly separated him from that role.

3. my favorite part
"We try very, very hard to keep it fair and keep it balanced," Shine says. Hannity "is balanced out every night by Alan and by other guests."

So, Alan Colmes is only a "guest" on Hannity's show?

5. Keith tells the truth. Hannity lies.
It is not the same thing, Howie.

7. This article pisses me off for several reasons, 1) when it was only rw nutters on
cable where was Howie, was he writing about how one sided it's been and quite frankly still is? and 2) KO can be hyperbolic which is fine by me but his show is fact based and not made up shit and crazy ass lunatic sources and guests.

9. Kurtz and the Post have zero credibility
This is guy (and a paper) who routinely reported on Schwarzenegger's campaigns while his wife Sheri Annis (a republican operative) was actually working for him!

No one should even bother to read this guy, much less believe anything he says.
