re-distribution of wealth-
when the topic comes up- everyone needs to "whip this out"

what states PAY in federal taxes vs. what they receive in federal spending...

redistribution of wealth is nothing new to the u.s.

and as far as "socialism" goes- may i direct your attention to the wall st. bailout, please?

3. That red states benefit the most of our tax dollars
The bulk of the wealth in this nation is produced near population centers which tend to be "blue" states. So in essence, "red" states have been redistributing wealth from the "blue" states for many years now.

That's why I laugh when I see stupid redneck Republicans clamor for "states rights" and laws/funding to work on a state-by-state basis. I laugh because I know all the red states would be broke as hell, and all the blue states would suddenly find themselves much richer. THESE are the facts.

4. The major tenent of Liberal Economic policy
is that those that have the resources are required to provide for those that lack the resources. In addition those that have the resources do so without judgement or comment as to the condition of the party receiving the resouces.

6. in other words- "from each according to their ability, to each according to their need."
the florida news-bimbette that quoted it to biden used it to paint obama as a dreaded "marxist". :eyes:

5. when they rail against obama for wanting to "spread the wealth around"...
it shows that "spreading the wealth around" is nothing new in the u.s.

they make it sound like an evil evil thing, that obama can't wait to pull on us all.

7. It would be more impactful if you could do it voter by voter in my opinion
You'd need a real big computer screen, though.
