It seems like forever ago that Obama cast his very disappointing FISA vote. Remember the argument... The Republicans would kill the Democrats on the issue in November.
Well, it's November and the electorate doesn't give a shit about a five month old Senate procedural vote. It's hard to imagine the McCain campaign trying to call Obama a Marxist and the champion of privacy rights in the same breath.
So go Obama! Let's win! But it's clear that we've missed some opportunities along the way.
We will need to stay on all our Democrats to do the right thing(s) in the coming years. They must learn that the time for "go along to get along" is long gone.
