8pm CST on a Saturday, and neither CNN or MSNBC has news on about the CA fires.

I briefly checked FUX news later, but they were running a Greta and Sarah sing-a-long. The only place to get CA fire info is DU, I guess. Same thing with CNN HEadline News -- some canned program.

Why don't MSNBC and CNN (and CNN Headline) have real news on?

I would check local sources if you're looking for 24-7 round the clock coverage. They're still burning, I would guess. Probably little if any new developments to report.

I just don't understand why a network news channel switches to canned junk like "Lockup" after a certain time of day. 24 hour news networks used to have news on all day and night.
