It's some sort of DOS attack from the Obama camp. They don't realize that Free Republic isn't worth even noticing any longer. It has marginalized itself completely.

The reality is that its lousy software doesn't work any more since its author messed with it again. Add to that the cheap servers they just bought, and the contributors' money is sluicing down the drain faster all the time.
