Was there something particularly subversive on Bill Moyers' Journal this week?
I'm wondering, because Alabama Public Television apparently doesn't want me to see it.

I wasn't home for the first run of it Friday night, so I tuned into watch the replay at one a.m. Instead I found some strange show about cows.

And they usually have another replay right about now, at four a.m. on Sunday morning. Instead there's a Nova episode about mountain climbing on.

Both times I've tried to watch, the onscreen program guide said "Bill Moyers' Journal." And all the other Friday night shows have been on as normal. Stuff like "Washington Week," and "NOW."

I guess the explanation could be as simple as a satellite glitch. But I'm wondering if there was something on the show that might've been "too hot to handle."

Anybody know?

1. I don't know, and haven't watched,
but reminds me of something; what was it that was knocked off station somewhere in the south? Siegelman?

3. I remember that
I watched that Siegelman report without a glitch off the CBS station in Birmingham. I remember there were problems in other parts of the state. I never heard a definitive account on what happened.

2. He had Sen. Feingold on as a guest(Wis-D)....
Nothing sensational or unexpected. They did have a segment on to raise money for my local PBS staion. That ran over for about ten minutes off the beginning of Moyers show.

It was probably a technical glitch of some sort. But I might email APTV about it.
