PARIS — Vandals desecrated at least 500 tombs of Muslim soldiers in northern France on Monday _ an act President Nicolas Sarkozy denounced as "repugnant racism."

The desecration near the town of Arras appeared timed with the start of Eid al-Adha, the most important holiday in the Muslim calendar.

The administration for the Pas-de-Calais region said the damaged tombs were in the Muslim section of the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette cemetery, a well-groomed burial ground for World War I soldiers. Some had swastikas scrawled on the tombstone, others had lettering whose meaning was unclear.

There are 576 graves in the Muslim section of the cemetery, where more than 30,000 soldiers are buried.

Just because you're a non-believer as am I, doesn't mean that citing a non-believer blog is any better (and it is by far worse.) I've come to my conclusions on the matter of faith (or my lack thereof) on my own. I really don't need any site or book to back me up. A history book works fine especially one written (attemptedly so as it is nearly impossible) without bias or agenda.

Wikipedia works just fine...so sorry if you don't feel so. If you want to edit the page or create your own entry feel free to do so. If you can't take facts and need things described by only those who believe as you do then tough.

4. I'm an atheist

I've left my body to science when I die. I don't require any marker to remember me or my passing. However, I find desecrating the markers of those that want them to be a despicable act.
