5. If a military man threw a shoe here
the treatment meted out to Muntader al-Zaidi will look like fun in the park.
Still that would be priceless

8. They have just given him an armed services
Medal of Freedom - not bad for a draft dodger and a war criminal. OMFG :puke:
Freudian slip - the President's commitment to America's war...pause...veterans. Perfect.

14. That one really pisses me off
and something else too...

When he finally passes into the Great Beyond, he'll be given a full military funeral even though his title as "President" was dubious, at best, and he was, as you stated, a draft dodger who couldn't even fulfill the relatively creampuff requirements of the TANG.

My dad, who died in 2002, enlisted in the Army during WWII.

He served in France and Belgium. He saw the full horrors of war, and was wounded himself.

When he died, you know what he got from the government?

A little "military" funeral complete with TAPED recordings of "Taps" and the 21-gun salute (I do realize that there's a dire shortage of actual people to do this...for ordinary citizens, anyway). He was cremated as per his own wishes, and part of his ashes (my stepmom and I each have some) now lie in a local Veteran's cemetery marked by a modest little headstone.

My dad served his country and was injured both physically and psychologically.

That little POS Bush played with the system while thousands of his peers died...just because he could get away with it.

He is a contemptible little worm. A bug not even worth the energy to hit with a flyswatter.

11. Too bad they can't say what they REALLY think about him for another two weeks or so.

Right now Shit-for-Brains is still the boss and whatever he says goes.

Even if he says 'you WILL give me a farewell ceremony'.

It will be a whole 'nother ball game after we get a REAL President.

12. Seriously something is gravely wrong with the system
when this monster can be decorated and celebrated by its victims.
