I mean, it's on TV, it must be true!

I prefer to go to the fish gutting factory every day for minimum and no benefits, don't you? And they let us buy any unsold fishguts for 1/2 off with our employee discount! Life is good. Don't let anyone sell you on that socialist BS about living wages and healthcare for everyone.

1. Didn't everyone make Gazillions on their "no $$$ down" houses?
I note those ads for the "free CD" that tells you how to get rich (like the promoter) by investing in real estate for no money down-- have all but disappeared...:eyes:

2. I got one of those " work at home" e-mails yesterday....
I wrote back asking; if you're making so much money on line, why are you trying to sell me this?"

Of course, I received no reply.

7. You will receive thousands of replies for the rest of your life
Because you replied they now know that your e-mail address is valid. Now your e-mail address is in a database marked as "valid" or "active" and you'll get even more SPAM as the list is sold to other SPAM artists.

Never, ever respond to any SPAM. Ever.

3. Many of those ads are for Herbalife, or other MLM ponzi schemes
The only people making that 9K a month are the upline, looking for desperate people. :eyes: :puke:

6. The "opportunity" that I looked into was selling cruises and European tours to those still rich
enough to afford them.

13. I've been working on my web site.
I'm doing a blog, trying to fund it with Adsense. So far, I've made a whole 34 cents in gross revenue.

Think of it as the 21st century equivalent of those guys from the Great Depression selling apples on the street corner.

14. work at home , right!
Every single one of them has the same catch . At least to ones you see on TV and hear on the radio.

Here is the catch. They all require a small shipping charge and the only way you can pay this shipping charge is via a credit card and one they have your number and if you even read the fine print and can come close to understanding it what happenes is you un-knowingly signed up and agreed to allow them to take a monthly payment out for say $90 per month for the program for 5 or 6 months. They give you a free trial and if you don't cancel then you are bound and they bank on people forgetting to cancel.

They are all scams with all of these fake people with testimonials galore stating how much money they made in a month.

One was for selling on ebay and on your own custom site where turns out you pay for hits and then the site. The crap they offer for you to sell is simply that CRAP. If you pay for the better program you get more of a selection of complete crap to sell , things one might trip over in an aisle at your local drug store in the 1 dollar bins from you guessed it CHINA>
