Poll question: Who do you work for
I don't want to know the name of the place. I just would like to know if it's a fortune 500 company, a moderately sized business, a not for profit organization etc. I also would like to know if you've had experience with several different types of business which do you prefer. Thank you

1. How about Large Private Owned?
The assholes I used to work for were #371 in the country, but owned by essentially two people.

Now I work for a smaller manufacturer owned by a small family. They seem ok so far....

3. Retired?
Does that mean I work for the Feds (SS) or a large corp (retirement funds)?

4.  I've worked for a Fortune 500, for the Feds, for a university,
for a small but might commercial real estate firm and for myself. I like being self employed but working at the university was also great.

5. A bigger electrical contractor in our local that is far below a fortune 500.
Quite frankly it's quite corrupt.

6. I'm self-employed but have been looking for
other work (by "other" I mean working for somebody else). No one will touch me because I haven't been employed by anyone else since 1990 and the implication is that my skills aren't up to scratch as a result. Weird. Not only have I retained my previous skills, I've added to them by recently getting a BSc. I've been told I might have a problem taking orders from someone else, and there might be a kernel of truth in that.
