Muhammed Ali is there!
That is just great! For the younger crowd, who may not know, Ali took a courageous stand against the Viet Nam war in the 1960's by refusing induction into the army. His quote was "I don't have anything against the Viet Cong", or something along those lines. He was stripped of his heavyweight championship and was more or less denied a chance to earn a living for three years after that. The Greatest!

2. Too bad Joe Frazier wasn't there with him too.
I know....not relevant. But Frazier was put in a box with the pro war establishment as "their hope" to teach Ali a lesson. Always thought that was unfair.

I agree with your assesment of Ali. It took a real hero to make the stand he did. Can you see too many athletes doing that today? They would be too worried about losing their Nike contract.

5.  Magic Johnson is there also. Ali took lot of grief because of his stand
I hope there can be a cure for the Parkinson's he is suffering from. Ali is truly a national sports treasure.
