CNN is also "crediting" Roberts with the error, saying clearly
that Roberts screwed it up and Obama immediately knew it & tried to straighten him out.

2. good. ThinkProgress was all over it, too.
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/01/20/obama-oath/

Our 44th President takes the oath of office. There was a trivial, momentary slip when Chief Justice John Roberts asked Obama to recite the first line of the oath in the incorrect order. Roberts said “execute the office of President of the United States faithfully,” rather than “faithfully executive.” The oath reads: “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Obama paused and allowed Roberts to correct himself.

6. I wondered why President Obama stopped and waited for him to correct it.
It's a good thing he did; otherwise, the reichwingers would have said he was illegitimate.

9. been watching Fox and they said the same thing..
One of the guys on fox.. dont know his name.. was pointing out that the words are outlined in the constitution and pointed out that some people.. as has been said on here already.. will try to say he is not the President.. but he was being humourous.. not an a--hole.. I am sure that exchange will end up somewhere on youtube..

He is our President now!
