Gen. Colin Powell just admitted that he teared up.

That's kinda' cool.

On edit--He just admitted to the commentator that he is still a republican. But that he feels the party needs to be 'reformed.'

2. Sorry, this is DU. Republicans are not allowed to be forgiven.
Nor can it ever be admitted that any Republican has ever done any thing good or generous, ever.

3. Really? Because 16 years ago
he was busy undermining Clinton on gays serving openly in the military.

There's plenty of things I don't believe we should forgive Powell for. That's one of them, and his lending legitimacy to W during the recount is another.

10. Excellent point.
...I appreciate the reminder. I'll be honest, I tend to block out much of what they do. I know if I held onto every transgression, I'd lose my mind (or would have the last eight years).

8. Hey...wasn't he on Bush's "principals committee"?
The group of people that sat around devising individualized torture programs for people at GTMO?

14. Hey bliss!!
Powell's not worried about being prosecuted. He's doing what he does best...ingratiating himself to powerful men.
