Where do I grant a microcredit loan?

Hi, I want to provide a very small loan ($25 or so) through one of these "microcredit" orgs I've heard of... I assume someone here at DU has done this. What org can you recommend?

http://www.kiva.org is user friendly and the entry fee is only $25.00 per loan. You can pick your client out of a list and watch his or her progress.

They were out of clients over the weekend, but I see there are a couple of pages there now.

Remember, no matter how desperate you're feeling, there's always somebody out there in far worse shape. Giving what you can when you can always makes you feel better about your own situation.

why Google something, and get 1,000,000 results, when I can ask DU? Since many of the replies to this message suggested kiva.org, then it's them who I went with. That's what I was looking for.

It's a done deal, some grocery store in the Dominican Republic has my $25 now. I hope they use it wisely, or I'll send Paulie Walnuts down there. (bad, bad joke)
