It must really bug the hell out of republicans...
that the last good president they had was Lincoln.

And he'd be a democrat today.

The way I see it, Reagan doesn't count. He was an actor, so his constituents practiced a willing suspension of disbelief for 8 years. After that, myth became fact.

1. I kinda like some of what I know about Teddy Roosevelt. But yeah...
Reagan was aweful and his venerated status is a calculated myth.

4. TR would be appalled at the state of the GOP today.
When he started an unnecessary war against a country that didn't threaten us, he quit his govt job & left to fight in it on the front lines.
