What exactly was the event that caused all this talk about Jindal? And what was the most recent speech Obama gave? And do you have some links to videos of it? Thanks :)

3. Obama gave his first State of the Union speech last night...

And Jindal gave the Republican response.

4. State of the Union

The President gave his State of the Union address last night and Jindal (who has presidential aspirations himself) was the puke that was supposed to give the rebuttal. However, he read his poorly written script like a 3rd grader despite having an Ivy league education and basically was a total flop. If Jindal is all the pukes have.. President Obama has no worries in 2012.

7. It wasn't a State of the Union--he was addressing Congress.

It just sounded like a State of the Union--which is great!

9. New president

doesn't give a SOU the first year he is in office. I think the thinking is he hasn't been in office long enough to give a good assessment of the state of the union.

5. It was just a very bad, poorly delivered speech.

Jindal talked as if he were addressing a room of preschoolers.

Think: tone = worse than Palin
stringing words together = a little better than Palin
