6. Two Other Possibilities...

I shouldn't be surprised if South Carolina's Jim DeMint decides that he is da man who is going to take the White House away from President Obama. For that matter, my state has a less-than-really popular governor named Rick Perry who only won the Texas gubernatorial election by a plurality of 39%. He wanted to be the Republican Veep so bad last year that you can still smell traces of it around Austin.

10. We couldn't be that lucky

She has enough ego to run but the primaries would weed her out. Some Alaskans I know, inclined to like her, are changing their mind about her. Of the repub constituency, half would take a bullet for her, the other half would rather move on. She is now polarizing the gopers. Most Alaskans, including myself, didn't know her well when McCain picked her. Her half interest in the job she has now is still turning people off. The disillusionment for some is just taking a little longer.
