Remember Sean Tevis, the candidate who raised all that money on the internet last summer?
He had that really clever website. It was posted here several times.

Well he lost his race and the guy who beat him, Scott Schwab, is proposing a law "that would require candidates to itemize every contribution they receive if the unitemized donations are greater than $5,000 total".

So if this becomes law, Sean Tevis's supporters are planning on sending Schwab donations of one cent. They will look for 500,000 people to send him a penny.

Schwab is also the rep who got mad last week when no one earning minimum wage showed up to testify and ask that minimum wage in KS be raised. It is $2.65 an hour. And this asshole expected people earning $2.65 an hour to take off work and drive to Topeka to beg a bunch of selfish republicans for a higher minimum wage.

So start saving those pennies, DUers. If Schwab's bill passes, I will be asking each of you to send him a penny. :)

3. It's the minimum wage in the state
And no, not just for those earning tips. Both my kids as teenagers worked jobs where they earned $2.65.

2. Keep us informed...I'll be happy to make this guy regret his big idea.
Given Democrats ability to leverage the internet to get contributions, no surprise a Republican wants to shut off that avenue of fundraising.
