The clock is ticking Democrats... It's just a mater of time...

before someone goes beyond just punching out one of these CEOs at a health club and does something far worse to express their anger towards these C-R-I-M-I-N-A-L-S that are being let go free while they buy off our politicians. If we don't do anything substantive to fix the system before that happens, we may cross a bridge that it will be hard to turn back from, and things might never be the same again.

Many of us here are already very angry here on this board. Many are already VERY angry even though we still have our jobs and a place to live. Imagine what is happening to the growing number of those being screwed out of their homes and their jobs now, and watching what is happening now. It's just a matter of time (no matter how sane we try to stay here), before someone crosses that threshold that will be hard to turn back from.

I don't even want to speculate what sort of action that will be, so as not to fuel that fire, but I'm really concerned that SOMETHING HAS TO HAPPEN NOW! AND IT HAS TO BE VERY DECISIVE AND CONFRONTATIONAL TOWARDS this criminal enterprise. It might be risky, given the corrupted system we live in now, but it has to be done, or there might be no civilized tomorrow!

There's till time Obama, but I think you need to take steps to do the following in light of what's happening with these right wing criminal corporate and fascist leaning enterprises.

1) Declare that the current campaign financing system that is in place is a COMPLETE FAILURE and only serves to legitimize a huge system of corruption through institutionalized bribery, and that there will be a VERY public drive to put in place public campaign financing IMMMEDIATELY, to divorce ourselves from the bribery system in place now, and anyone standing in the way of that will be demonized in every way possible, even if the corporate media tries to keep from being a part of that as complicit partners of these fascists.

2) Declare that media systems that don't take their public responsibility of using the public airwaves, the cables traveling over public lands, etc. to dispense information appropriately, will be have all of their broadcasting licenses under review, and potentially their companies broken up.

3) Say that no longer are we just looking at penalizing companies for the problems of unaccounted for bonuses, but we are going after the individuals involved with these scams in every way possible (the courts, and personal income tax surtaxes, etc.).

4) Say that we have to find some systemic way to restore our treasuries that have been raped for so long and continue to be so with these scams, and that the only way we have of doing this is to demand that those with the increasing share of our society's wealth be made to pay more for fixing this system (aka restore the pre-Reagan upper marginal tax rates).

If America sees this happening, even if the threshold above is crossed at some point, which it still may be with the anger building up, at least the public at large will perceive there are powers trying to work on their behalf and try to wait and work with those forces to try and fix the system, rather than identify with those that might express their frustration in extreme ways. If the general public feels the need take the latter course, in the face of some horrific act committed out of frustration that will in effect demand a big public response in the minds of the general public, I don't think those of us or our children will ever see a civilized society here again in our lifetimes, and many of us I think will be looking to move out of this country.
