Chill out, folks. Obama has a lot of catching up to do.
It'll be really hard for him to ever rival the master. In case you have forgotten:

"It’s a time of sorrow and sadness when we lose a loss of life."

"I know how hard it is to put food on your family."

"I appreciate the fact that you really snatched defeat out of the jaws of those who are trying to defeat us in Iraq."

"I remember meeting a mother of a child who was abducted by the North Koreans right here in the Oval Office."

"We’re concerned about Aids inside our White House – make no mistake about it."

"I’m honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."

"I’ve coined new words, like “misunderstanding”."

"I recently met with the finance minister of the Palestinian Authority, was very impressed by his grasp of finances."

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people and neither do we."

"The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur."

"It is clear our nation is reliant upon big foreign oil. More and more of our imports come from overseas."

"It’s in our country’s interests to find those who would do harm to us and get them out of harm's way."

"One year ago today, the time for excuse-making has come to an end."

"I promise you I will listen to what has been said here, even though I wasn’t here."

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test."

"I don’t particularly like it when people put words in my mouth, either, by the way, unless I say it."

" have no disregard for human life."

"When the governor calls, I answer his phone."

"Those who enter the country illegally violate the law."

"I think we agree, the past is over."

"My job is a decision-making job, and as a result, I make a lot of decisions."

"One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures."

"If the terriers and bariffs are torn down, this economy will grow."

"Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."

"Too many OB/GYN's aren't able to practice their love with women all across the country."

Just remember a couple of these tomorrow. I feel better already.

2. Thank you
The Master Of Gibberish.

And he got away with all of it.

11. My pleasure.
In retrospect, these Bushisms are a lot funnier. When he was running the country, they were funny, but my ability to enjoy Bush's instability was limited by the knowledge that he was doing so much damage to the country and the world.

4. I wonder if it is just that good recording devices are a new thing
or if he is the most stupid sounding president we have ever had.

"Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...we won't be fooled again."

9. Thanks you Laelth for the reminder. I think some DUers have forgotten!
We need to give the President and his team some time and support.

Good God! When you read those quotes it doesn't seem possible that the worst happened, but it did!

12. Astounding, isn't it?
I think the Mirror's response was appropriate.
