Poll question: Who is the nastier piece of shit ...... ?
Shown here, each with a rare smile, are the two pieces of shit in question. Not only are these two just plain nasty, they both have facial expressions that one might imagine one would have were one to have just swallowed raw bile.

Who is the nastier?

5. King is a Repub Congressman in NY (Long Island area) and
Molinari was an aid to Guliani.

Lovely folks, both of them. :sarcasm:

8. What are his chances once he leaves his local area, which is ......
..... pretty much loaded with White Flighters?

I also think Gillibrand will be a weak candidate. Am I wrong to think that?

9. You know, I would like to say his chances are slim...but this is a
state that elected Alphonse D'Amato. And George Pataki. I live downstate, a suburb of NYC, so my perspective is quite out of sync with many NY voters. Plenty of regressive areas in my state.

Gillibrand doesn't seem to be wowing too many people thus far. We'll see what happens between now and the election, but that seat could very well be up for grabs.

10. What do you have against Molinari?
According to Wiki, she's a moderate

"While in the House of Representatives, Molinari's ideology tended to be more moderate than the main line of the Republican Party, in which the conservative Southern wing of the party was clearly ascendant. On issues of crime and punishment, she favored extended use of the federal death penalty and restrictions. She favored reduction of Social Security taxes, middle class tax cuts, and tax credits for families; these were policies consistent with traditional fiscal conservatism. She signed on to the Republicans' 1994 Contract with America, which promised a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and opposed the placing of U.S. troops under U.N. command. Concerning social policy, she leaned more liberal than many of her Republican colleagues. Unlike her father, an outspoken opponent of abortion, Molinari is pro-choice. She also sided with the Democrats in voting for the Family and Medical Leave Act, a cornerstone of Bill Clinton's social policy."

"Although she has maintained a public face, Molinari's subsequent political activities have been largely behind the scenes. She supported George W. Bush's election in 2000, but joined with more moderate Republicans such as Gerald Ford, David Rockefeller, and Richard Riordan in forming the Republican Unity Coalition, which opposed Bush's decision to support an amendment to the United States Constitution banning gay marriage."

11. Listen to what she says, not what her wiki page avers
She's hard right.

She uses that term that defines all the loonies: Democrat Party.

Listen to her words ......... it is very obvious. Since she flies below the radar and is a private citizen, unless you listen to her, or know her from before, you can't make a judgment.

She may have been more moderate way back when, okay .... but she has hardened.

12. I chose King - he has a long track record of dissing his constituents
who write critical letters to him.
A real prick.

Luckily, I suspect that shit will not go down well in upstate NY - it IS a whole different world out there from the suburban metro NYC area.
