5. I'm not sure what your point is

You should probably focus your anger on those who enabled the bonuses to be paid...members of the Executive & Legislative branches of the federal government who didn't block it when they had the chance, and/or the individuals at AIG who authorized the company to become a party to those contracts.

Let's face it (and be honest) - if you worked at AIG and the company wanted to hand you a check for $1.5 million, you wouldn't turn it down, especially if it was written into a contract you signed with the company nearly a year ago. It's always easy to take the high road with someone else's money.
