PIC: Cloris Leachman goes all natural for PETA
http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2009/03/pic-cloris-leachman-goes-all-natural-for-peta.html

Cloris Leachman, 82, the former Miss Chicago and "Dancing With the Stars" grande dame has taken a natural approach to her new ad for PETA encouraging a vegetarian lifestyle.

Wearing a dress made entirely of cabbage and lettuce leaves, Leachman (who gave up eating meat over 40 years ago) the ad shot by photographer Robert Sebree encourages people to "Let Vegetarianism Grow on You."

The vegetable ballgown is actually more coverage than Leachman has had in the past. Nearly a dozen years ago she appeared on the cover of Alternative Medicine magazine covered in nothing but body paint.

pic, sorry can't get it to load:

1. I don't think this is needed.
Besides, animals are delicious.

2. I gotta admit, Dancing with the Stars put her on the map again.
Good for her, though.

11. Awesome dress
I love meat and all the wonderful side items, but this dress (and Cloris) is stunning.

I can only hope that I look half as good when I get to 70.

13. this is what I expect when Project Runway does the grocery store challenge
but do the stupid designers get this creative? Nooo. They rely on tablecloth and other non-food related items. :eyes:

14. Cloris looks great. Some of the shows she's been on recently haven't
been too flattering, but I guess they made her up to look worse than she really is.

She is a very talented actress, such a hoot at Phyllis on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. I'm glad to see she's still active and doing good things to help animals.
