Chris Matthews just gave Al Franken huge props for his work entertaining troops overseas...
....in dangerous situations year after year.

On Hardball just now. Very nice. They were discussing the Franken/Coleman Senate race.

3. I was surprised that Charlie Cook, the pollster, even said "stick a fork in it the race is over"

2. That was nice. Also, all through the show, he keeps saying
"our President". He seems to be making a big point of OUR President... he seems very proud.

He's been a class act all the way during this Senate race. I don't know how he kept his patience. Thank goodness he has so much of it.

7. A friend of mine moved to Minneapolis
from New York late last year and got a job in a store where Al Franken came through her register and she talked to him about the election(this was a couple of months ago). She said he was hanging in there but looked very tired at that point in time.

The harder the battle the sweeter it is and he will eventually be a very excellent Senator from Minnesota:patriot:
