Keith just said it was about an ex sports announcer born on January 27th. that's Ed's birthday.

So, we'll see later in the show.

9. So does Cris Collinsworth
but he's a part-timer too, and I doubt MSNBC is giving him his own show...

4. KO is still a part-time sportscaster.
It's gotta be Ed.

I'm sure many will be disappointed. But no matter, it's good to be able to have a new face every hour where possible.

eta: Thanks!

12. ME TOO! Shuster has come out strongly as a progressive ...
Not letting RW tools get away with their usual talking
points. Shuster's show is more about what the pundits
are saying (and I enjoy that, the way he does it ...
moreso than Tweety, frankly), whereas when Ed has
filled in, he's done interviews with Democratic
insiders (Steny Hoyer, Harry Reid), sort of getting
out the "official Democratic message."

WE NEED BOTH!!!

14. Jeez, I stay away frm Du a few hours and so much has happened
I like Schuster, too. They don't need to air Tweety twice. So they still have a duplicate show. I'd like that.

13. Don't forget, folks...
Edited on Wed Apr-01-09 07:31 PM by UnrepentantUnitarian
...yesterday, Keith said that Ed Schultz would be on the show tonight. He also mentioned a major announcement. Even in the poverty-stricken south, two plus two equals four. Period.

Edit: Correction, it was Ed's website that said he would be on with Keith tonight.
