An interesting comment from my aunt's husband.....
I had assumed he is a republican and voted for McCain and bush. So what a surprise to get this in an email....

to Christine Lee: Oh boy! am I proud to be an American now that we are rid of that stupid frat boy Bush!! When he and his wife met the Queen Mrs. Bush curtsied & W. bowed!!! How Stupid!!! President and Mrs Obama walked right up to the Queen and shook her hand like the super smart Americans the are. It is nice not to be embarrass by our president.

Now, henry is about as pro war, republican sounding a person as I've met. who knows... maybe he isn't. but he acts the part. he is an odd duck, but to hear him feeling the same way i do about bush... as an embarrassment!! wow. wonder how many out there actually still think he was great and a plus for america?? lol.

1. I could be wrong, but...
Your first opinion of the guy may be correct. That reads like sarcasm.

2. didn't seem like sarcasm to me. seemed like he thought bush was
seeming like less than the queen with curtsying and obama stood up straight and acted confident and in charge. i think that is what he meant.

4. Ummm.....my take - he's being sarcastic.

He loves Bush and thinks the Bushes treated the Queen appropriately, the Obamas did not. He's embarrassed by the Obamas.
