Cantor Says Dems "Overreacting" To The Economic Crisis
http://www.politico.com/blogs/glennthrush/0409/Cantor_Dems_overreacting_to_the_economic_crisis.html

GOP Whip Eric Cantor thinks his party can retake the House in next year's midterm elections -- and accused Democrats of "overreacting" to the economic crisis by embarking on a federal spending spree.

The Virginia Republican, speaking to reporters at the Christian Science Monitor breakfast Thursday morning, praised Rush Limbaugh for his "ideas" and for avoiding the Democratic error of "overreacting, as they often will, to crisis."

He went on to criticize Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's recent statement that the biggest danger was "doing too little" to deal with the meltdown.

"Doing too much has huge, huge pitfalls as well," he said.

Jobless claims have hit a 26-year high. But, hey, Eric Cantor has a job and has health coverage, so he just doesn't see what the big deal is. Let them eat cake.

1. This is not the first time Cantor has spoken and confirmed that he is a fool..

4. Eric Cantor is a prick.
He's from my state and my only regret is that he's not my congressman so I can't vote against him. If a dem runs against him, they will get my contribution.

5. What "ideas" does Rush have that most Republicans don't already buy into?
The Virginia Republican.....praised Rush Limbaugh for his "ideas".

Seriously, what new ideas has Rush come up with that deviate from standard Republican philosophy? If Rush is coming up with totally new ideas then I guess it's going to get harder for Repubs to insist that Rush is not a leader of the party.
