1. Indoctrination, pure and simple.
Where's the critical thinking and analysis? Oops, my bad. Those are much too dangerous.

Kidding of course...but not by that much.

2. Is their University title valid? You can see superiority-inferiority - it reigns throughout
the Republican Party. If I had the time I would create a fill-in-the-blanks superiority-inferiority test demonstrating where it occurs.

8. Those examples are seventh grade. Pathetic. However, I'm sure there
out of context and I would be able to see the brilliance of the fill-in-the-blanks if I took the course. With all due sarcasm.

Regrettably, they will still probably keep finding jobs within local and state governments and the media and military so they can get their doctrine planted throughout the country.

4. Gay sex at porn shops?
Do they offer hetero sex at porn shops too? I know they cover both genres in their film titles.

7. This is the most dangerous of the Crazy "Christians" attacks.
They tried activism and they failed. They tried politics and they failed.

The one thing that has protected us from their varied attempts at imposing their radical attempts towards theocracy has been our legal system. They recognized that, and Liberty was born. :(

First they will become lawyers. Then they will become judges. And then they will start handing down rulings.

And then the really scary part starts. :scared:

9. I actually bought a textbook off some dude at Liberty
I didn't know it until he emailed me to make sure I got it (it was an Amazon transaction). I found it kinda strange, but he made a good transaction, shipped it fast, and wished me success in the course.

It's more than I can say about most Amazon sellers.

10. I've worked with Liberty U. grads before
Also Bob Jones University grads, always in finance-type positions. I have to say that they are very professional, congenial and results-oriented, and I've never known their religion to be an issue in the workplace.

I totally disagree with their religious philosophy, but I've never encountered any problems with them on a professional level.

13. I just finished reading "Unlikely Disciple" by Kevin Roose.
He is a student at Brown University who enrolled at Liberty for a semester to get a first hand look at the university. He was brought up as a Quaker, and a friend of his gave him lessons in the evangelical doctrine so that he could even begin to pass. I would recommend reading it. I believe he gives a good description of the school and those who enroll there. The students are at once more complex, and yet in some ways as simple as one might expect.
