First, all states have great people in them and shouldn't be insulted by members of DU. Beyond that, Iowa was amazingly blue in this last election.

from rejecting slavery to admitting women to the bar. It's all covered in the decision (which I HIGHLY recommend reading) btw.

would follow their lead.

I am trying to determine how much longer I can stand living in Florida. This place is like a Hollywood backlot. They put on a friendly face, but there are some deeply rooted haters here.

Amendment 2 which passed a supermajority in November, will stand until the US Supreme Court overturns it. And still the underlying homophobic mentality will live on for generations.
