Hey Reid and Pelosi...Want to increase your favorability ratings???
Daily kos has posted this recent poll showing the favorability rates for Pelosi (35%), Reid (33%) and Congressional Dems (41%).

Although they are polling still much higher than their Republican counterparts, I think I know a great way to increase those numbers:

You see:

A "USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds majorities in favor of investigating some of the thorniest unfinished business from the Bush administration" and in it:

Close to two-thirds of those surveyed said there should be investigations into allegations that the Bush team used torture to interrogate terrorism suspects and its program of wiretapping U.S. citizens without getting warrants.

Almost half favor criminal investigations and about a quarter want investigations without criminal charges (that means MANY LESS people want investigations WITHOUT criminal charges).

One-third said they want nothing to be done. (One can assume these people are die-hard republicans who put party before country.)

Even more people want action on alleged attempts by the Bush team to use the Justice Department for political purposes. Four in 10 favored a criminal probe, three in 10 an independent panel, and 25% neither.

Let's not let by-gones be by-gones. We are a nation of laws, not men. INVESTIGATE THE BUSH/CHENEY CABAL and watch your favorability numbers rise.

1. as much as I want to see it,
right now in the midst of a horrific financial crisis affecting not just the US but the entire world the last thing we need is for the government to start spending money, wasting time and getting sidetracked on investigating Bush and his administration.
