He'll be asking people to report to him what psycho right-wing talkers are saying for the segment.

2. I really like 1600 Penn Ave. It was a journalistic show that actually
reported news. Schultz is liable to be a lw loudmouth to match fow's rw loudmouths. i would much rather watch a news show than another loud opinionator.

8. I don't like Shultz
I don't listen to his radio program when it comes on. He reminds me(sounds) like Limbaugh and is very argumentative. Out of all the great people (Thom Hartman, David Sirota, Cenk) why this fat head picked for an MSNBC slot? Actually Phil Donohue should have got it.

9. Maybe it's because he has the best ratings in liberal radio.
And has the top liberals, Democrats, and union leaders on his show often. Including that President Obama guy recently.

Maybe?

11. maybe it's time for a gut-puncher from the left...
Cenk would have been as good, or better, choice to accomplish that....but Ed probably appeals to a broader demographic...hey, it's TV...

it seems like Thom, David Sirota, and the like would be more 'intellectual' in approach, which can make for better radio than TV (read: ratings) these days...

Ed is always well-prepared and does not shy away from any angle of an argument...see his support for EFCA, which not all dems are down with...

Ed can be the blue-collar guy that no network has, on either side...maybe M$NBC is more about THAT angle than left or right...
