Gotta disagree with Rachel Maddow on this one...
She was just discussing the two American journalists being held in North Korea on the nebulous charge of "hostile acts," but DPRK officials responded "We are not Guantanamo" when asked how the two journalists were being treated. Which means that a nation that routinely tortures its own citizens was calling America out for torturing "enemy combatants."

Then she mentioned that Washington legislators should revive their appetite for Sen. Leahy's proposed Truth Commission. I respectfully disagree.

We don't need to waste time and taxpayers' dollars on a Truth Commission that will only tell us what we already know - and pardon Bush operatives (and possibly even Bush and Cheney). We need to skip right to the indictment process and get down to handling the people's business.

3. No one should have to take them on. Someone needs to enforce
the law.

2. Exactly. When I hear "truth commission", two things come to mind.
1) The Warren Commission. 2) The 9/11 Commission.

And both were complete bullshit coverups.

PROSECUTE the criminal sons of bitches. Now that there's no excuse of "sitting pResident" or "executive privilege" there's no reason not to.
