David Frum is an asswipe, Reihan Salam a vebose idiot, and Sam Donaldson a relic in love with his own voice.

Although I disagree about this being the worst episode. It wasn't great but I found it more watchable than previous episodes. The last few weeks, I found myself flipping the channel several times during the show.

30. You know what I'm wondering?

See if this sounds nuts: After Obama won, I had a couple of weeks of euphoria coupled with a strange, empty feeling. All of a sudden, we had won and I didn't have Chimpy to hate anymore. (Of course I still hate him, but he's gone, so that's good.)

I found myself getting pissed off at little things, stuff that didn't matter, and I finally realized that I had so much anger stored up inside me, eight years of frustration and rage, that I just didn't know what to do with myself.

It took a while, but I got over it, and now there are other things to worry me, but nothing like how it was during Chimpy's run.

I think that syndrome - displaced rage - might account for a lot of the dissension that's showing up here on DU.

And I wonder if Bill Maher has just run out of gas as a political comedian since we don't have Chimpy - who was so egregious, and such a great target for hate and mockery - to kick around any more.

Does that make sense?

It was much easier to make fun of Bush. Humor was a great way to let some of the anger progressives had out. I just hope Bill can turn it around because if the show doesn't get better, I won't stick around much longer.

And Maher just said "The surge did work." WHAT A TOOL!!!!! The surge "worked" because we handed out cash to everyone in Anbar who might have done us in. Now, the money's gone and watch what happens next. Asshole - "The surge worked," my ass.

This show needs to be put down. Green needle time.

I mean, SAM DONALDSON???? He's legally dead.

If being boring were a felony, this show would be in the slammer.
