You can get AK-47s in the US, but they're usually modified to be only semi-automatic.

Such an AK-47 is isn't an assault rifle. It's a matter of definitions. Still looks scary, and if looks could kill ...

The reports talk about "100s" of rounds being fired. Perhaps it wasn't modified to be semi-automatic, or perhaps it was modified back to being fully automatic. In either case it would have been illegal for Poplawski to own it, in all likelihood.

7. How about blaming Lou Dobbs
