My hometown mentioned on Stephanie Miller!
Some guy from LeClaire, Iowa, my hometown, just emailed Stephanie Miller and extolled the progressive virtues of our great state. LeClaire is a small town and was not a bad place to grow up. My parents still live there and they were progressives long before it was cool to be that way.
It was sort of like Mayberry on the Mississippi, just a small town where we liked fishin', huntin', fast cars, and had real values such as helping out neighbors if they were in need. Just braggin' up my hometown a bit. Thanks for the indulgence.

1. Iowa is more socially progressive than California.
Who knew?
