IDIOT! Palin responds to Levi Johnston

I just knew she would be stupid enough to respond to Levi's performance on the talk show. This woman is so ridiculously predictable.

(pardon the source please) http://www.politico.com/blogs/anneschroeder/0409/Palin_camp_responds_to_Levi_Johnston.html

"Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship," says the statement from the Palin family rep, Meghan Stapleton.

"Bristol's focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence," the statement continues. "It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child."

The statement ends, saying, "Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions."

1. Tit-for-tat with a rednecked teenage boy. Nice. Hey, if you didn't want
him screwing your daughter, perhaps you shouldn't have let him spend the night in her bedroom, eh?

6. Didn't Bristol already go on tv saying abstinence does NOT work?
and to accuse Levi of seeking fame and fortune of all things is pretty funny. Pot, meet Kettle.

3. All this shit was normal everyday life for the Palins prior to Sept. 08
We just never heard about it because we didn't even know these morons existed. Nor did we care.

Now it is just noticeable because of the spotlight they all shed upon themselves.

They will claim that the media is picking on them of something just as stupid.

4. yeah, Palin would be dead meat running for president in '12
Anybody who isn't politically smart enough to stay out of commenting on what some redneck teenage high school drop out is saying--isn't going to get anywhere in 2012.

9. Or so one might have thought
Don't forget that 40% of American voters will vote Republican even if their ticket
consists of Hitler/Mussolini or even Donald and Daffy Duck. We'll never have it as
easy as they will.

11. Not yet but I think her Levi comments are now sounding more like a lover's quarrel
ripped right from the headlines of the Enquirer.

I think this could be very interesting, in a Jerry Springer sort of way.

Nothing beats closing the barn door AFTER the horse has left...!!!

She sure is the BEST one to be advocating for that!!!

13. Palin and Johnston are about equal in emotional maturity.
As I said before and say again, Sarah is a case of arrested development, stuck in high school. She has none of the maturity of an adult.

15. You hit the nail on the head there
Edited on Mon Apr-06-09 11:49 AM by BuelahWitch
Can you imagine that this woman COULD have been a heart beat away from running our country. "Bristol did not even know he was going on the show" does sound like a high school rant...

Edited to add that I really feel sorry for her children. Their lives must suck daily with a controlling hag like this for a mother.

17. Her children are mere props to her 'life' ... she presents her Downs child like it's "Show & Tell."
Her husband is constantly described as her "high school sweetheart" and her attitude is like she's always compeeting to be sophomore class president. She's a basket case, for sure.

16. As Mudflats put it, commenting on the governor's maturity...
http://www.themudflats.net/2009/04/04/sue-baby-sue-showdown-between-palin-and-legislature/

So, what we have here is a case of what might be described as “toddler think”. “I want what I want when I want it and if I don’t get it I’m going to try to get it anyway because it’s what I want right now and I’m not worried about tomorrow because that’s an abstract concept that I can’t wrap my brain around because I’m a toddler!!” Any parent will recognize this. And we put up with it as parents because we know it’s “just a phase” and soon that brain will create all kinds of neural pathways and connections, and the concept of the future, and ramifications tomorrow for actions taken today will kick in eventually. “Consequences.” It’s a word that kids learn to fear, but a concept they hopefully learn to master.

<snip>

The reason we put up with toddlers and their way of thinking is because they have cute chubby cheeks and they give us unconditional love, sticky kisses, and fingerpaintings. They also give us hope for the future. I have gotten no such thing from my state government, and until I do, that kind of behavior doesn’t fly.

19. Indeed. In crediting her with the emotional maturity of a high school kid, I'm being kind.
Clearly, she emulates the LEAST emotionally mature of high schoolers, those already demonstrating personality development issues.

18. Why does she always speak for Bristol? Speak for yourself Sarah. You are the
one who keeps this going at the expense of your own daughter and grandchild.

She is despicable.

Could you imagine having an attention grabbing mom who makes a public statement regarding your ex-fiance? How embarrassing.
