3. The Pukkkes only have power to obstruct
and they are going to use that power ruthlessly, as usual.

What Patriots they are ! (NOT!)

6. yes, he was disgusting
and when Norah asked if he thought Coleman would take it to the Supreme Court, he bursted in "Well, you could ask the same thing of Franken, because Coleman has certain things in his favor as well."

7. That was pretty blatant posturing for Coleman. Saying that it may end up being on Franken's
back to prove he is the winner if things change. Pawlenty was anything but objective in the matter. He all but said this will go to the Supreme Court and that many more months of this same crap will go on.

Slimy. They are going to do anything possible on all levels to block Franken from taking that seat.

9. Pawlenty should sign the certificate as soon as the state Supreme Court is done.

And if he doesn't, then the Democrats should just seat him anyway.

11. And the sad part
is that Noron O'Donnell didn't have enough smarts to ask him the right question. She asked him that, if after the 3 jusge panel hearing the case right now rules in Franken's favor would he sign an election certificate? Naturally he slid away saying the legal course in the State had to run. She should have asked him that, if the Minn. Supreme Court rules in Franken's favor, would he or not sign the election certificate. We would have had a clear view to whether Pawlenty is going to let the Rethugs carry this thing all the way to the SCOTUS.

14. He said worse than that

http://www.startribune.com/politics/national/senate/42532012.html?page=2&c=y

"Appearing on MSNBC, Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty said the race might be far from over. Pawlenty said it might take a few more months in the courts 'to get a proper and just and accurate and legal result.'...

"...it's important, it's very important that we have a result here that isn't some scam or isn't based on some improper result or incomplete result," Pawlenty said.

Although I don't like him, I've always thought Pawlenty had a modicum of ethics. He'll prove me dead wrong if he declares the most careful, open and lawful recount in state history to be a "scam", and withholds certification of the victor.
