Ed Schultz Is Going To Call Newt Out Tonight!
At least that is what he said on the radio. He said he is going to challenge Newt to come on any MSNBC program an produce the evidence that Obama has made this country less safe in the past 75 days. He was on fire about it, yelling that Newt is a fraud. Then, he said, "this is what my show is going to be like".

I hope he hands it to ole' Newty.

3. LMAO.. Yeah right..
I've seen "Big Ed" take on people before, in his parlance "take on" means nice softball questions, and avoid any touchy subjects.

4. We'll see.
Sometimes he gets on something and won't let go. Sometimes he misses. I expect he'll want to start his new show with a bang.

7. My understanding is
that it is scheduled for the 6:00PM time slot previously filled by 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

11. That is not what I've seen..
You have missed some good stuff, like when he called McCain a warmonger.

12. Well that must have been
after his interview with Lieberman, where he profusely thanked him for all the great things he has done for our nation, ignoring the fact that Lieberman betrayed his party, and his supposed values to march with the "warmonger". So did he actually call McCain this to his face?

13. No, he said it on his radio show..
He may have defended his statement on a TeeVee interview though. I seem to remember that, but I'm not sure.

I like Ed. He's not nearly far enough to the left for my personal preference, and he isn't as well researched as Thom Hartman or Rachel Maddow, but he is a good spokesperson for the average working stiff, he's pro-union, and he can reach to the other side and perhaps change some minds.

5. Rachel Hits 'Em High, Eddie Hits 'Em Low...
I'm looking forward to Ed's show today. He looked very good in his on-air auditions...a solid interviewer and one who will stand his ground. It'll be fun to see the reaction of the wingnuts as he looks like one of them, sounds like one of them but is connected to the real world.
