Frank Gaffney: Obama sending "coded" messages to Al-Qaeda
Frank Gaffney: Obama sending "coded" messages to Al-Qaeda

Un-fucking-believable.

Neocon mouthpiece and conspiracy-theorist Frank Gaffney scurried out of his hole again today to spread his typically deranged propaganda on today's Hardball. Deranged? Yup. According to Gaffney, President Obama is sending "coded" messages of "submission" to Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

Why is a nutcase like Gaffney on my TV? Why does MSNBC continue to allow somebody like him to pollute our airwaves? It wasn't enough when Gaffney appeared on Hardball last December and said this:

My position is it is regrettable that any Americans died. It is regrettable that they had to die, but I believe they did have to die. The threat we knew about was the chemical capability that Saddam Hussein had used against his own people. And that’s the reason I’m still delighted that we did what we did.

Today Gaffney was back with some more outrageous, incendiary rhetoric:

I'm a member of Dick Cheney's fan club. I think he's absolutely right that when you, yes, have wonderful roadshows that encourage all kinds of acclaim from people by telling them what they want to hear. Whether it's our European friends that you're a trans-nationalist just like they are or our Muslim enemies that you're willing to submit to them. Which is I think the kind of groundbreaking that was done today.

When David Corn challenged Gaffney to back up his "submit" comment, this was the propagandist's response:

When uses the word "respect" in the context of a waist-bow to the King of Saudi Arabia for example and talks about respectful language. Which is code for those who adhere to Sharia that we will submit to Sharia...I'm telling you the code is they receive it in the Taliban headquarters and Al-Qaeda caves...

What. The. Fuck. Why is this incendiary moron on my TV? On the supposedly "liberal" MSNBC no less?

3. Schuster was pretty good calling him on his facts but I wish he'd reminded him of Bush
kissing and holding hands with the Saudi. What was THAT code for?

12. Gaffney is not a run of the mill nutjob...do not underestimate this
individual. He is worse. Gaffney and his ilk are manipulative opportunistic ideologues who lurk in the shadows and create the chaos from which they profit. They are provocateurs who have come together in a fraternity that was given the label "Neocon." Minus the power structure of the Republican Party on which they built some real power after years of being in the wilderness, they are now looking for another home somewhere but not with out giving it one more good ole college try. Gaffney is beating the bushes trying to find bits of the scaffolding on which to hang his rhetoric in the light of day. Catcalls are due him and Cheney and any one of these destructive agents who dare rear their heads in this time of great uncertainty. Calmer heads must prevail.

13. He Cringes At The Word "NeoCon"
Kind like waving fire at Frankenstein...and Gaffney's as much a monster, if not worse.

You are spot on...Gaffney isn't the usual wingnut, he's got an agenda that helps him and his buddies profit. He was one of the "paid-for" pundits by the military-industrial complex who have made billions on death and suffering...from outsourcing to making bigger and more deadly weapons...all with tax payer money.

He's one of the goons who made their names during the waning years of the Cold War whipping up anti-Soviet hysteria...star wars, Pershing Missiles and the Raygun build-up...then after the Soviets were "vanquished", the Neocons needed a new boogie man and traded in the Russian Bear for the Islamofascist. Same rhetoric, different skin...and all to whip up hysteria that mean billions to his defense contractor buddies. A true merchant of death....and a traitor.

Ya gotta think he went spastic when President Obama all but embraced cooperation with the Islamic world. But then, knowing this shitstain, he's already working on the Chinese evil monster myth.

Cheers...

floating the notion of evil China. Neocons may need to be reminded that poking the dragon right now could very well incinerate us all, and it won't take a nuclear weapon to do it either. They forget that their misguided policies and wars got us into the position of being a debtor nation.

17. They've Been Trying For A Decade...
10 years ago, there was the Freeper uproar of how the Chinese were buying the Panama Canal and would soon have us surrounded. Then there was the dog whistles that China was providing missile technology to Iran and/or "Islamofacists". It's been a steady drumbeat against China...or as he'll still call it "Red China".

Schuster nailed his ass pretty good yesterday, but that's rare. Gaffney almost always spews his bile uncontested and has to keep his hands out of sight for all the blood that drips off of them. One despicable excuse for a human.
