Abortion for the right == guns for the left.

THe Repubs have made hay in the past promising to end abortion and yet when in control they never do.

THe Dems have promised more thorough gun laws and yet after elections don't seem to confiscate ugly weaapons....


This kinda goes along with my theory that, in a very loose sense:

Republicans want to legislate "morals"

And democrats want to legislate a conscience.

He cosponsored S.1431 that year, which made it worse.

Dean's 50-state strategy largely put the kibosh on the ban-popular-guns nonsense in 2006, though, and it worked.
