Wow, talk about sore losers, Fox and the repukes take the cake...
It is unbelievable how hard the right is taking the election losses. Faux news is 24/7 railing against our President. One of their biggest stars is Glenn Beck, a neo nazi supporter and psychotic personality.

They still can't believe it, and I think it is just starting to sink in. But in their minds, they are sure it can be reversed, and soon.

The outright lies they are spewing, editing everything to skew the truth, is beyond comprehension. How can a country like ours let this type of stuff go on, unchecked? They are dangerous, and unpatriotic to say the least. Nothing good will come out of their actions for our country. Their only goal is to destroy it further in a hopeless attempt to take back control.

They need to be held accountable for their actions. The FEC or someone needs to start pulling in the reigns on these nuts before more people get hurt. It is that simple. This is not about free speech. This is about our country, and the people who are trying to destroy it.

1. The moment the FEC steps in will be the moment

they really start to freak out. Don't feed them. These are highly paranoid people lacking even the most basic education that are, sadly, all armed and ready to "defend AmeriKa" as soon as we give them a reason.

I'm all for the "stand up to them yourself" view combined with "just fucking ignore them" (although I can't even though I try every day).

One day we'll have to rip down the fence on the mexican border and fence in the red states. How many fundies do really prefer a theocratic dictatorship over "Barry Seotero's" government?

2. It's not just Faux, it's ALL of them.
CNN, CNBC, MSNBC (when KO or Maddow aren't on) . . . all of Corporate McPravda are spewing the same Rovian three-cue-card anti-Democratic schpiel. "We're all of a sudden concerned about taxes.", "Anyone suffering in this economy is a loser.", "Socialism (repeat ad nauseum)", "Who's going to care for the needs of the wage PAYER? They're people too!" . . . ON and ON.

Just today, they had someone from the Heritage Foundation on CNBC (they're regulars, BTW) blathering how bad it would be to have "Government-RUN health care". And no one at all calls her on the whole "paid vs run" lie, just let her get away with it as usual.

7. It makes me think that those inside sources knew in advance of the "loss" and are playing out a....
Movie script replete w/canned "outrage."

These are the same sources who were crucial players/enablers in EVERY mass deception since 2000 on - before that too, yes, but that's another very long thread.

10. agreed, or have we forgotten
that it was the media that shaped the outcome of the Democratic Primaries?

Funny how Hillary just kept on winning, but it was always Obama's victory....

9. Cool! Is Gallager going to wear his pseudo-military uniform?
This is not a photo-shop and I don't believe he ever spent a day in the real thing:

16. I'm sure only rightwingers will show up to their crappy tour
and it's dwindling by the minute.

I'm STILL trying to convince my father to turn the radio to AM 760 so he can listen to the liberals instead of Hannity, Savage, Prager, and LIMBOsevic.

4. I think they have passed the point of free speech. It's getting dangerous.
The only good I can possibly see coming from extending "free speech" rights to protect the hate speech from these maniacs would be if they actually take arms, rise up, and then get wiped out by hellfire missiles launched from predator drones, like any other self-respecting terrorist would do. }(

5. Some details would be helpful
Some us us do not have access to cable news shows. What, precisely, are their actions they need to account for?

I have heard this Beck guy on AM radio but don't recall any mention of his support for the actions of the Nazis?
What kind of support is he giving to Nazis?

11. The First Amendment
is our most precious right as Americans. I would much rather any censoring done be by company standards than by government regulation. As it is, the First Amendment is in danger.

There will always be ignorant individuals; they will have their say one way or another. But if they are to be muzzled, then so must be those of us 180 degrees to the left.
