42. Same favorite here...
Different "least favorite": My useless sack of shit Congressman, Gresham Barrett. Joe Wilson, from the next district over, is a putz, too. Looks like we might be rid of Barrett, as he's planning to run for governor. I have little doubt his replacement will be just as horrible.

50. Gresham Barrett is bad to the bone. My condolences.
But I've heard talk that Mark (My Word!) Sanford might be setting up the GOP to lose the goobernorship in South Carolina. I find SC depressing, mainly because of the supporters of pricks like Barrett and DimWitt. At least in Dallas there was a hard-core liberal community. But what-the-hell? I'll be in my fire lookout in Oregon for almost six months, beginning in mid-May!

what I've seen of them. And the GOP are sadly, what I'd expect. Amazing the difference - but that usually is how it is in the House... strong differences (thank GOD there's real progressives in the House!)

Most of our politicians are either wingnut republicans or moderate/conservative democrats. Evan Bayh is our democrat senator (the other is a republican, Luger) and of our 5 democratic reps, 3 are members of the blue dog coalition.

Least favorite - Mike Pence (aka my rep). IN-6. I have met the guy at town hall meetings and he is an OK person and very respectful when you disagree with him, but I disagree with 90% of what he stands for.

Most favorite - Andre Carson. IN-7. Second muslim in the house, member of the progressive caucus, GLBT caucus and black caucus.

Though it's a tough choice: Other cool reps include Jared Polis, Betsy Markey and Diana Degette.

Least favorite rep. Up until last January, it was Marilyn Musgrave, but the CO 4th District fired her sorry ass. :woohoo:

So now the booby prize is a tie, going to the Rethug douchebags Doug Lamborn and Mike Coffman.
