A powerful Democrat has added his voice to those calling for a federal investigation into reports of torture at Guantanamo Bay and at black site prisons abroad.

In light of the startling revelations that came to light this week with the publishing of a Red Cross report, which documented in gruesome detail interrogation practices such as suffocation by water, beating by collar and prolonged nudity, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow that he would support a Department of Justice investigation into the reported torture.

1. Get on the bandwagon, Schumer...it is too late to lead the parade.

2. How about they investigate it in Congress? They're always ready
to push something off on the Justice Department. WTF is the point of the judicial committee if they're never going to investigate things. Do your own investigation and make prosecution easy for the Government

3. I guess Schumer is too busy to do it himself.

So the buck gets passed to the next government deadbeat, who will pass it on to the next one.

But if you don't show up for traffic court they'll send the freaking swat team after your ass...The rich folk protect their own these days. Chuck talks the talk, but I never see him walk the walk.
