Poll question: Who was the "leaker" in the McCain camp?

You remember someone was squirting out all sorts of accusations and rumors when they were nearing the end.

No one ever fessed up and no name was ever floated.

Who do you think it was?

2. Seriously, though, probably a verbally abused staffer,

or a puppetmaster deliberately sabotaging the campaign. McCain was a sacrifice, since they didn't really want to win this round (and let McCain have his chance at bat so he'd quit running), but let the Democratic Party clean up their mess and absorb the blame (hoping for short memory on part of the public).

It's a group of Republicans after all. I wouldn't trust any of them any farther than I could throw them.

IRC, at the time one of the sources cited for those cheap shots at Mooselini was Rick Davis...Gramps campaign manager...as he saw the poll numbers going south. But McCain had few friends last year and Mooselini had even fewer.

Remember, the GOOP game has been to play telephone...always hiding being "official sources" and other guises that almost always are done to slime someone or misdirect.

I really don't care who said what about who...and those shots didn't have an effect on the election. The moment Sarah Barracuda sat down with "Charlie" and then Katie, that was the boat anchor that took that inept campaign to the bottom. Democrats should be grateful...we had two very bad candidates to run against last year.
