this isn't just about being politically correct. a so-called gay marriage in the states where it's legal for all couples to wed and in the states where all marriages are recognized, is no different that so called straight marriages. The goal isn't to achieve gay marriage but to achieve marriage equality.

"straight voting". It's just "the right to vote" or voting equality to use your phrase. Same should be said for marriage.
