(Colorado) State Nixes Woman's Request For Tofu License Plate
Is that a statement professing a vegetarian's love of curdled soybean milk or an obscene statement?

The Colorado Department of Revenue said it could be viewed as the latter, and won't allow a Centennial woman to personalize her license plate with the phrase ILVTOFU.

Kelley Coffman-Lee, a mother of three, said she believes the Department of Revenue missed the intended healthy message, "I-LV-TOFU," and misread it as the far steamier "I-LV-TO-F-U."

1. my my my
touchy aren't they? on the NC's DMV webpage the sample they show is something like WTF-123 - my son and i got a laugh out of that. we're such web creatures we just cannot look at WTF without reading what the fuck.

so the other day in the food lion parking lot the car next to ours had as its license plate: WTF-123 (not the real numbers, but the real letters). lol

2. I just wrote this out for my husband and asked him
what he thought it said. He read it as; "I love Tofu". I think most people would. I think someone at the DMV in Colorado is an idiot.

3. They did her a huge favor
because you know every god's gift to the female sex would read it as "I LOVE TO FUck" She'd get tailgaters following her home, wanking all the way, thinking she was a sure thing.

I'd suggest "TOFU*LVR" as an alternative.

4. I think you are right.
Now that I think about it.

TOFU LVR is probably the way she should go.
