How many suicides are occurring at local malls? The Carousel Center

in Syracuse has a six story open atrium that has been the scene of several suicides. There was a debate about changing the railings but I don't think any changes were made. I thought this might be peculiar to this mall, but then I saw this:

What about hotel atriums? Is this happening where you live? There has been an active debate about adding railing to the Golden Gate Bridge. I wonder if there is another problem that is sliding past under the radar.
