Man charged for possession and manufacture of weapons of mass destruction

<snip>Police were called to a home at 704 Wellswood Dr. on Monday, where they eventually arrested Timothy Ernest Young, 30, who lives at that address. During the investigation, authorities received information that Young was in possession of bomb-making material and homemade bombs.

The Gaston County Police Department Hazardous Devices Team responded to the scene and located two suspicious devices, which they rendered safe and removed. Young was then also charged with possession of weapons of mass destruction and manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.
