I just couldn't pull the trigger. Didn't have the nerve. Like they say, scared money never makes any money. Sonofabeach!

3. Yeah, but you could of also bet it on black a few times
You probably wouldn't of made any money though. The house always wins. In the long run, you still may have better luck in a fairer gambling facility found in Vegas

4. My financial guru told me a few months ago Ford was
the most stable car company and Wells Fargo one of the most stable banks.

8. Honestly, what stock would you buy?
I'm not trying to be snarky, just curious.

I had a huge laugh with my sister when we both said we weren't "hurt" at all by the stock market going bust last year. Both of us are small biz owners, both hanging on, but neither of us has anything in the stock market. It was the first $$ discussion we've had as adults (in our forties) and I would never have pried into her financial affairs until this came up last year. Now we're pretty open about it all.

She's about to close on selling her restaurant so she may actually have some money to invest soon. Like the OP though, I'm not sure she's brave enough to jump into the stock market.

9. Don't take my recommendations
I actually know nothing about investing, and as I'm unlikely to ever have much money to invest, it's not worthwhile for me to do the research.

If I did have money, I'd sure look into it, though. There have to be lots of bargains out there right now. But, I wouldn't put my nest egg in the market now.

I have about $200 invested just for fun...it's my gambling money . Costco has been going down, but that has to go back up. I would guess that any good retail outfit would have to be a good bet, although the earnings wouldn't be enough to let you buy the Trump tower.
