'Mad Money' host blasts off on Jon Stewart to OSU's Lantern.
http://media.www.thelantern.com/media/storage/paper333/news/2009/04/09/Campus/mad-Money.Host.Blasts.Off.On.Jon.Stewart-3705294.shtml

He says that Jon Stewart, the popular comedian who revolutionized "fake news," pulled a fast one on him during the March 12 interview on "The Daily Show."

"It was a complete and utter ambush," Cramer said in an interview with The Lantern. "He told my staff that it was going to be fun, convivial, no clips, but doesn't matter, he's a comedian, he can do whatever he wants."

Cramer was also critical of Stewart's conduct off-camera.

"He had an animus toward me. At the conclusion of the interview, not on the mic, he said, 'I picked the wrong guy, I'm sorry,' but that's not gonna get out there," Cramer said. "He just said it to me as just a throwaway. His goal was just to humiliate and destroy me and probably get me fired, and last I looked, I still have a show."

1. Boy he's sure full of piss and vinegar. . .now that he's not
face to face with Jon anymore.

Stewart was dead on with his criticism of CNBC and their complicity in the theft of so much money.. Our 401Ks, and pension funds are bankrolling wallstreet's gambling. They know it and we know it.

8. I'm not sure about the vinegar.
And in his makeup, I believe the piss to have some solid accompaniment. ;-)

2. That certianly wasn't his tune during the show or immediately after
In fact I watched 'Mad Money' the folllowing day and he certainly changed his tone, he was suggesting viewers do their own research and he is just merely informing viewers on how the stock market works.

3. Cramer, you rascal. As if we haven't yet figured you out: Complice in a short-selling scam.

No second chance for mediacons. Question him about what motivates his "hatchet job" interviews.
Only in america.

4. Talking tough now that Steward isn't around
That slays me. This guy came off so meek and defeated during his interview on the Daily Show and then has the audacity to make comments like that? What a dick...but we already knew that.

5. This guy is still talking about Stewart? I guess the "conflict" gave him attention.
Missing the spotlight, I suppose.

6. Yeah, the Cramer vs. Cramer episode of TDL was wonderful.
It was a wonderful, funny, utter ambush in the best tradition of Daily Show ambushes.

Hey, Cramer, offer to go onto The Colbert Report! LOL!

7. Is Cramer looking for more attention?
This comment: "He had an animus toward me.

13. I don't get what was meant by "I picked the wrong guy, sorry"
Like Jon was saying he was sorry he had him on the show, or what? I don't think Jon was sorry, Jon exposed him very nicely.

I always think that anyone who does any interview with TDS knows what they're getting into, but I guess not huh?

14. I doubt Jon Said that
But, even if he did, the issues wasn't so much exposing Cramer as it was exposing the entire practice of what Cramer does (shilling for large corporations). Jon even made a point of that during the interview, when Cramer started to whine about how it wasn't his fault...Jon said "this isn't about you..."
